A well‑established Environmental Consultancy with six offices across the UK offers a range of multidisciplinary services to clients. The successful Ecologist will work with the ecology team in London, assisting with protected species surveys and contributing to project delivery.

Position Overview:

  • Undertake protected species surveys
  • Assist in preparing tenders and quotations
  • Produce technical reports (PEA, BNG, protected species reports, etc.)
  • Manage small‑to‑medium sized projects and some large projects with assistance if needed

Position Requirements:

  • 2.5–3+ years of industry experience
  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
  • 1 protected species licence
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and ability to apply it correctly

Position Remuneration:

  • Competitive salary ranging between £29,000–£40,000, depending on experience
  • 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays and the option to buy additional days
