Pebble Recruitment are currently representing a well‑established environmental consultancy with six offices across the UK. We are looking for an ambitious Ecologist or Senior Ecologist to join our team in Gloucestershire.
Position Overview
- Undertake protected species surveys
- Help build tenders and create quotations
- Produce technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc)
- Manage small‑to‑medium‑sized projects and assist on large projects as required
Requirements
- 3–8 years of industry experience
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management or a related field
- One protected species licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and how to apply it correctly
- Membership or affiliation with the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (desired)
Remuneration & Benefits
- Competitive salary: £27,000–£40,000 (depending on experience)
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days
