Pebble Recruitment are currently representing a well‑established environmental consultancy with six offices across the UK. We are looking for an ambitious Ecologist or Senior Ecologist to join our team in Gloucestershire.

Position Overview

  • Undertake protected species surveys
  • Help build tenders and create quotations
  • Produce technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc)
  • Manage small‑to‑medium‑sized projects and assist on large projects as required

Requirements

  • 3–8 years of industry experience
  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management or a related field
  • One protected species licence
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and how to apply it correctly
  • Membership or affiliation with the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (desired)

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: £27,000–£40,000 (depending on experience)
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days
