We are currently recruiting for an experienced Skilled MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturer.

Working as part of the welding department and reporting to the Team Leader, you will play a key role in the production of precision-engineered hydraulic components, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering and Auto CAD drawings accurately.
- Perform high-quality MIG welding using three-phase welding equipment.
- Operate a range of workshop machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
- Carry out in-process inspections to ensure products meet strict quality standards.
- Update and use the company MRP system as part of the manufacturing process.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the welding area.
- Work to production and efficiency targets.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Maintain strong attendance and punctuality.
- Support the wider production team and undertake additional duties as required.
- Performance Measures
- Minimising weld‑related defects.
- Achieving departmental productivity targets.
- Full compliance with quality procedures and health and safety standards.
- Accurate use of the MRP and non‑conformance systems.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' MIG welding experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and Auto CAD drawings.

- Background operating workshop machinery and fabrication tools.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures.
