Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a leading innovator in renewable energy production, specialising in biogas plants, to recruit a Day Shift Operator on a 12‑month fixed term contract for their site in Dufftown. Reporting to the Process Team Leader, the Shift Operator will operate the Anaerobic Digestion plant and associated equipment, perform plant walkarounds, take daily meter readings, complete minor maintenance tasks and record findings on CMMS, carry out basic lab testing, operate mobile plant such as a telehandler or forklift truck, maintain housekeeping standards, monitor the plant remotely once trained, and perform other duties as required.
Professional Qualifications
- Minimum of NC level in a related engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, chemical, engineering practice) or equivalent with at least 2+ years experience in an operations process operator role.
- A full UK Driving Licence (essential).
