If you've got a good mix of mechanical and electrical knowledge, enjoy working with industrial machinery and fancy a role that takes you beyond the same four walls, this could be right up your street.

We're working with a specialist engineering manufacturer looking for a Technical Services Engineer to support their industrial equipment at customer sites across the UK and internationally.

You'll be getting hands-on with specialist machinery, solving technical problems, carrying out repairs and helping customers get the best out of their equipment.

What will you be getting involved in?

  • Servicing, repairing and maintaining specialist industrial machinery.
  • Installing, testing and commissioning equipment at customer sites.
  • Travelling across the UK and internationally to support customers.
  • Working alongside design and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Showing customers how to operate and maintain their equipment.

Does this sound like you?

Perhaps you're currently a Maintenance Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer or Commissioning Engineer.

You might be used to keeping machinery running in a factory, or you might already be travelling to customer sites.

Either way, you'll ideally have

  • A solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Experience fault finding on industrial machinery or electromechanical equipment.
  • The confidence to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
  • A practical, logical approach to solving problems.
  • An interest in automation, PLCs or control systems - experience here would be a bonus.
  • A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel internationally.

What's on offer?

  • UK and international travel.
  • Hands-on experience with specialist industrial equipment and automation.
  • Technical training and professional development.
  • Company pension and annual leave plus public holidays.

If you're the sort of engineer who enjoys finding out why something isn't working just as much as fixing it, we'd love to have a conversation.
