The Role
You will have completed a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventive maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. Machinery will include CNC machines, servo motors, Fanuc spindle drives, hydraulic presses, large furnaces, motors, overhead cranes, thermocouples, and shotblast machines. The ideal candidate will come from a CNC machinery background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer, working on servo motors, Fanuc spindle drives, hydraulic presses, furnaces, overhead cranes, and thermocouples. You will also be willing to be involved in general mechanical work. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
