About the Role

In this role, you’ll take ownership of on-site electrical teams delivering solar PV and battery storage installations. Beyond day-to-day supervision, you’ll help shape a positive team environment, uphold strict safety standards, and contribute to improving how projects are delivered.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and supporting site-based electrical personnel, including qualified electricians, trainees, and subcontract partners
  • Championing safe working practices and ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation and internal procedures
  • Overseeing installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of solar and battery systems
  • Carrying out site audits, risk assessments, and quality control checks
  • Spotting opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency on-site
  • Feeding back insights from completed projects to strengthen future delivery
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical electrical issues when they arise
  • Tracking labour and material usage to support cost management
  • Collaborating with project teams to keep delivery aligned with timelines and budgets

Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience supervising electrical installations or teams
  • Practical experience with solar PV and/or battery storage systems
  • Qualified 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Qualified Electrician
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to track and manage on-site costs
  • Full UK driving licence
