About the Supply Chain Manager
The purpose of your role will be to oversee the company’s stock operations from Europe into the UK, manage key supplier and customer relationships, and ensure the smooth, compliant import and movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end stock control, including forecasting, ordering, stock life management and system reconciliation.
- Oversee imports from Europe to the UK, ensuring accurate documentation, customs compliance and smooth movement of goods.
- Manage warehouses, hauliers and third-party providers, including load planning, delivery routes, pricing negotiations and service performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer supply chain queries, managing expectations and resolving delivery issues or shortages.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, coordinating shipments, resolving supply issues and supporting product launches and changes.
- Ensure full import compliance, keeping procedures up to date with legislation and ensuring teams are trained and audit-ready.
