Role Overview
The employer seeks an accomplished Electrical Project Engineer to join the MEP team to deliver the electrical system installation for mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects across the southwest area. The successful candidate will ensure the electrical installation is delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget, while upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee electrical elements of the project, ensuring alignment with programme goals, budgets, and milestones.
- Planning: Collaborate closely with MEP disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Allocate labour, materials, and equipment to achieve project objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure electrical installations comply with relevant standards; conduct inspections and audits.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce robust health and safety practices, addressing risks proactively.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor and control expenditure; provide accurate financial and progress reports.
- Risk Management: Identify risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
- Client Relations: Maintain good professional relations across supply chain, main contractor and client contacts; deliver updates and ensure satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including permits, contracts, change orders, and reports.
