We are seeking an experienced and motivated Design Manager to join a well-established main contractor with primary works within the commercial sector (Project values to £25m).
The Role
- Manage and coordinate the design process across multiple live projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions for compliance and buildability
- Liaise with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to resolve design issues
- Monitor design programmes to ensure information is issued on time
- Support pre-construction and tender activities with technical input
- Ensure all design solutions meet current regulations, quality standards, and client expectations
