We are recruiting for a Design Manager in Birmingham to work on a new build commercial scheme. The role is situated with a main contractor specialising in multi‑million new build projects.
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £300 - £400 per day
Responsibilities:
- Attending and contributing to design meetings
- Liaising with clients, architects and external consultants
- Managing site audits and creating proactive risk assessments
- Ensuring sub-contractor compliance with client specifications
- Ensuring project completion in line with programme
- Value engineering / resolving technical and design issues
