Our client in the design industry is currently seeking a 3D Design Engineer to join their team to assist in designing new bespoke products and designs. This is an excellent opportunity to excel your design career with future progression available.

Responsibilities

  • Produce 3D models in SketchUp
  • Produce drawings on AutoCAD
  • Liaise with installation teams on design and any modification required
  • Liaise with internal teams on stock levels and ensuring that everyone is aware of their duties in the project
  • Produce detailed reports from meetings regarding key points
  • Specify best materials for the project
  • Liaise with clients regarding specific requirements
  • Creating installation manuals

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5 years’ experience working in a technical design position
  • Experience working on SketchUp
  • Experience working on AutoCAD
  • Experience working with materials including metals and plastics
  • Confidence to speak to clients
  • Team player
