Impact Recruitment are working with several leading manufacturing businesses based in Daventry, who are looking to appoint experienced MIG and TIG Welders to join their skilled production teams.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MIG and/or TIG welding to manufacture parts and assemblies to defined production schedules.
- Prepare and set up tools, materials, and equipment to support welding and fabrication activity.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Manufacture components using jigs, fixtures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Inspect finished assemblies and parts, reporting any issues to Quality Assurance.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with Health & Safety requirements.
- Support the introduction and development of new components and processes as required.
- Proven MIG and/or TIG welding experience.
- Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and fabrication processes.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team.
- Competitive hourly rate (£13.00 - £17.00, depending on experience).
