STA/Quality Engineer
The COMPANY
Our client is an independent company who have carved themselves a niche supplying/designing powertrain components (exhausts, and other specialist Automotive components) to OE Automotive customers.

The ROLE

Due to continued expansion an opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to become an integral part of our Client's team.

The Quality/Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer (STA Engineer) will be responsible for supporting the management on all quality related issues.

The minutia of the role includes

  • Working with internal & external stakeholders to resolve quality issues
  • Defect root cause analysis - using Global 8D process
  • Work to and audit the BMS (Business Management System) including TS16949/ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 or ISO45001
  • Assist with product & process audits
  • The CANDIDATE

The right Quality Engineer/STA Engineer candidate will possess

  • Experience of working in Quality Assurance
  • Good academic background
  • Sis Sigma skills
  • APQP, PPAP & FEMA practical experience
  • TS16949 & ISO9000 knowledge
  • Understanding of ISO14001, OHSAS18001, ISO45001
