STA/Quality Engineer
The COMPANY
Our client is an independent company who have carved themselves a niche supplying/designing powertrain components (exhausts, and other specialist Automotive components) to OE Automotive customers.

The ROLE
Due to continued expansion an opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to become an integral part of our Client's team.
The Quality/Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer (STA Engineer) will be responsible for supporting the management on all quality related issues.
The minutia of the role includes
- Working with internal & external stakeholders to resolve quality issues
- Defect root cause analysis - using Global 8D process
- Work to and audit the BMS (Business Management System) including TS16949/ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 or ISO45001
- Assist with product & process audits
- The CANDIDATE
The right Quality Engineer/STA Engineer candidate will possess
- Experience of working in Quality Assurance
- Good academic background
- Sis Sigma skills
- APQP, PPAP & FEMA practical experience
- TS16949 & ISO9000 knowledge
- Understanding of ISO14001, OHSAS18001, ISO45001
