A rapidly growing M&E subcontractor with three offices across the UK is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their team at their Dartford office. This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious and expanding company that is securing a growing portfolio of projects across the mechanical building services sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders and supporting the continued growth of the business.
The Role
- Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Pricing mechanical building services systems including pipework, HVAC, and associated plant
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
- Producing cost plans and tender breakdowns
- Supporting the pre-construction team and senior management
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Mechanical Estimator within the M&E / Building Services sector
- Strong understanding of mechanical installations, specifications, and pricing
- Ability to review technical drawings and tender documentation
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (required due to office location)
