We need an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (with overtime optional). Travel time will also be included with the role, and the applicant will also be expected to work as part of the on-call rota (1 in 6) to carry out PPM and repairs to an industry standard.
Responsibilities
- To carry out routine PPM, servicing, breakdown and some install work.
- Reporting back to management of work completed with evidence on our PDA-based system.
- To work well within a team or individually.
- To risk assess work/working environments before starting any work to avoid injuries, and undertake all work by Health & Safety and The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998.
- To identify materials and parts required to carry out repairs to the set company standard.
- To keep your allocated company vehicle clean and tidy at all times, always wear the correct uniform and dispose of any waste to company/HSE regulations.
Person Specification
- Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or TPCP1).
- Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence desired).
- Must have proven customer service experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience.
- Ability to work on a call-out rota - 1 in 6.
- Must provide proof of qualifications at the interview stage.
