Outside IR35 Pay £500 a day 3 month rolling contract. ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider, assisting them with the search for a Cyber Security Architect on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be working with a Telecoms end client across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain secure architecture solutions for fixed network and enterprise environments, ensuring alignment with business and security requirements.
  • Lead security architecture reviews for network infrastructure, systems, and enterprise platforms to identify risks and recommend mitigations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and project teams to embed security‑by‑design principles across network and enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain security standards, reference architectures, policies, and technical documentation for fixed network environments.
  • Support security governance, risk assessments, and compliance activities, ensuring solutions align with regulatory and organisational security frameworks.

Key Skills

  • Strong experience as a Cyber Security Architect within fixed networks and enterprise environments, with limited focus on mobile network technologies.
  • Deep understanding of network security architecture, including firewalls, segmentation, secure connectivity, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and enterprise infrastructure security.
  • Experience designing secure enterprise solutions across on‑premise and hybrid/cloud environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical audiences effectively.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, Zero Trust, and secure architecture best practices.
