Position: Electrical Installations Technician – full time permanent, based in Cumbernauld, working Monday to Friday (39 hours per week, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm).
Responsibilities:
- Cover the Cumbernauld and surrounding areas, delivering electrical equipment to commercial clients.
- Installing the equipment on site, calibrating it, diagnosing faults.
- Attending monitoring visits, making electrical repairs in the workshop.
- Ensuring vehicle cleanliness and service.
- Taking part in out‑of‑hours call‑out for breakdowns or emergencies on a rota basis.
- Collecting equipment at the end of hire terms.
- Performing supporting duties as part of a busy team.
Qualifications:
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Electrical service or repair experience with basic exposure to machinery control circuits, voltage/current measurements and components.
- Some electrical qualifications.
- Practical experience of in‑service inspection and electrical equipment testing.
- Knowledge of single‑phase and 3‑phase electrical motors.
- NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Physical fitness; lifting may be required.
- Comfortable with occasional work at height for installations.
- Will receive full product training and mentoring.
