Our client is a market leading manufacturer. To maintain their high standards, they are looking to recruit a day shift Reliability Engineer.
The Role
- Will optimise asset and equipment reliability by developing and using proactive maintenance preventative and predictive strategies to minimise downtime and reduce costs.
- Use data to perform root cause analysis and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
- Utilise Reliability Engineering tools such as CMMS, Reliability Centred Maintenance, Risk Based Inspections, Root Cause Analysis, PM Plan optimisation's, equipment history analysis, failure predictions, predictive maintenance techniques and others to maximise equipment reliability.
- Collect, process and analyse plant performance and reliability data, including failure modes and effects analysis.
- Develop and deliver Reliability Reports and supporting information highlighting key findings, trends and recommendations.
- Develop and manage predictive/preventive maintenance strategies to improve plant availability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on overall equipment effectiveness.
- Lead reliability improvement projects to completion.
- Maintain asset registers, criticality assessments and lifecycle plans.
The Person
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency with CMMS software.
- Strong understanding of maintenance strategies: preventive, predictive, reliability centered maintenance.
- Appreciation of mechanical and electrical systems, industrial equipment and facility operations.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards.
- Knowledge of various process improvement techniques.
- Competent using Microsoft Package applications - Excel, Word, etc.
- Excellent communicator both in written and verbal forms.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload and team.
