Opportunity Wolviston Management Services are proud to be supporting a major client in the recruitment of an experienced Electrical Craftsperson to join their established Engineering team at a large-scale, heavy industrial facility in Teesside. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Craft Team Member to work in a highly automated and mechanically advanced environment. You'll be responsible for delivering safe, efficient electrical maintenance across a range of plant and machinery – ensuring asset reliability and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and reactive electrical maintenance tasks to support operational uptime.
- Assist with breakdown recovery, inspections, and repair works.
- Ensure compliance with all site safety requirements and statutory regulations.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Day Engineering and Manufacturing teams to deliver planned maintenance programmes.
- Use modern maintenance systems and digital tools (e.g., SAP) to log and track tasks.
What We're Looking For
- A recognised apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (essential).
- Relevant qualifications – City & Guilds, BTEC, ONC/HNC, or NVQ Level 3 (certificate evidence required).
- Strong hands‑on experience in heavy industrial electrical systems and maintenance.
- Familiarity with permit systems, isolation procedures, and safety legislation.
- A team‑oriented approach, with flexibility and strong communication skills.
- Good timekeeping and a proactive attitude to work.
