Job Overview
Commercial Gas Engineer / HVAC Technician – Salary £47k per annum – Location: M4 corridor (Coventry to Oxford).
Full‑time, permanent role with a competitive salary, company vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week plus participation in an on‑call standby rota (1 week in every 4).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of HVAC systems including AHUs, split systems, LPHW boilers, DX coils, inverters, and chillers.
- Ensure compliance with PPM schedules and complete all associated documentation.
- Respond to callouts and carry out diagnostics, repairs, and fault finding.
- Recommend suitable replacement options for non‑repairable faults.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across all sites.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 4 commercial gas qualifications (e.g., COCN1, CIGA1, TPCP1, CENWAT, CPA1).
- F‑Gas certification (C&G 2079 or equivalent).
- Experience with 17th or 18th Edition gas regulations.
- Experience in HVAC/Gas across multi‑site contracts.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
