Responsibilities
- Construction Skills Tutor: teach basic construction skills at a college of further education.
- Teach adults’ basic skills such as painting, dry lining, mastic application and some aspects of health & safety.
- Contribute from a construction sector background at site manager or supervisory level when guiding learners.
- Support learners who are at the transition from tools to teaching roles; this position may suit someone looking to get off the tools or semi-retired.
Qualifications / Requirements
- You do not need to be a qualified tutor, but you must have a long working history within the construction sector, at site manager OR supervisory level.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure is required and MUST come back clear.
Details
- Hours: Monday to Wednesday – 7.5 hours per day (22.5 per week).
- Contract length: until 31st March 2026.
