We’re working with a well-established construction and civil engineering contractor who is looking to bring a Commercial Manager into their London team. They have a strong pipeline of work across concrete repairs, structural repair and civils, and this role will play a key part in overseeing the commercial performance of projects while supporting the wider commercial team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing the commercial delivery of multiple projects from pre‑construction through to final account
- Managing CVRs, forecasts, cashflow and reporting across your portfolio
- Leading on subcontractor procurement, negotiations and account management
- Managing variations, claims and final accounts
- Supporting the bid and tender process with commercial input
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects run efficiently and profitably
- Providing guidance and support to Quantity Surveyors and junior staff

- Strong understanding of contracts, commercial processes and risk management
