About You
Essential Requirements:
- Significant experience within a fire engineering consultancy environment, typically around 10 years or more, although the quality and breadth of experience are more important than the exact number of years.
- Proven track record of delivering fire strategies and complex fire engineering solutions across a range of projects.
- Strong understanding of UK fire engineering legislation, regulations, and the evolving building safety landscape.
- Experience leading or supporting technical teams and providing technical oversight.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Desirable Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working towards chartership.
- Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining long‑term client relationships.
- Commercial awareness and project management experience.
- Experience contributing to business development, proposal writing, and tender submissions.
- Experience leading teams, mentoring engineers, and supporting organisational growth.
