Coded TIG Welders (Boiler Experience) – Energy from Waste Project
Location: London & South East (Lodge Available)
Rate: PAYE in line with NAECI + London Enhancement + Overtime
Shift: 11 days on / 3 days off | 12‑hour shifts
Duration: Long‑term
We are recruiting for experienced Coded TIG Welders with boiler or power experience to join a major Energy from Waste project in the South East. This is a long‑term opportunity on a high‑profile power infrastructure scheme, working with a leading contractor on a large‑scale build delivering critical energy infrastructure.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality TIG welding on boiler systems, pipework, and pressure systems, working within a safety‑critical, QA‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out TIG welding on boilers, pipework, and pressure systems
- Work with carbon and stainless steel across a range of pipe sizes
- Deliver welds to coded standards in line with WPS and QA requirements
- Read and interpret isometric drawings and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and industry standards
- Support mechanical installation teams and wider site activities
Requirements
- Proven experience on boilers, power plants, or heavy industrial projects
- Valid TIG codings (6G / pipe welding)
- Strong experience with carbon and stainless steel pipework
- Ability to read and work from isometric drawings
- CCNSG, SSSTS or SMSTS (CCNSG can be arranged if not currently held)
- Relevant trade certification (welders excluded) – Technical trade test available if UK ECITB certification is not held; however, some form of trade qualification is required
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
Rates & Package
- PAYE – paid in line with NAECI agreement + London Enhancement
- Overtime available
- Lodge/accommodation support (subject to location)
