SRG are delighted to once again be working with a specialist aerospace & defence manufacturing company based in North Lanarkshire to assist in their search for a senior quality engineer to ensure product quality and compliance against regulatory and specification requirements.
The Role
- As senior quality engineer you will work closely with the operations, manufacturing & NPI business units to assure product quality is to internal, regulatory and customer standards, carrying out internal and external audits to AS9100 standards.
- This role will involve reviewing of products and processes to ensure regulatory compliance & maximum efficiency.
- You will also carry out root cause analysis and corrective action against any non-conformance.
- The role holder will be responsible for the management of the AS9100 Quality Management System and will be responsible for training new & existing colleagues on the QMS and QC inspections.
The Right Person
- Certified Quality Management System auditor - AS9100 Desirable
- Prior experience working to AS9100 standards
- Demonstrable experience identifying and implementing process improvement
- Industrial knowledge of the process and controls used in the manufacture of high reliability products
- Comfortable interacting with and presenting to internal & external stakeholders
