To carry out the inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, and operational support of four rail mounted gantry cranes in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. The role requires a strong mechanical and/or electrical background, excellent problem‑solving ability, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on cranes.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults efficiently.
- Perform repairs, component replacements, and adjustments to ensure equipment remains operational and compliant.
- Conduct inspections in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover of cranes and lifting systems.
- Complete service reports, inspection documents, and maintenance records accurately.
- Liaise with customers and site teams professionally.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and health & safety legislation.
- Maintain tools, company vehicle, and equipment in good condition.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
