An exciting opportunity has become available for an Engineering Geologist to join a well-established ground investigation and geotechnical consultancy in Coventry. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of infrastructure, residential, commercial, and industrial projects across the Midlands while developing your technical and project management skills within a supportive team environment.

The successful Engineering Geologist will be involved in all aspects of ground investigation projects, including:

  • Site supervision
  • Logging soil and rock samples
  • Groundwater and gas monitoring
  • Factual reporting
  • Liaising with clients and subcontractors

You will gain exposure to both geotechnical and geo-environmental projects while working alongside experienced engineers and geologists.

The successful Engineering Geologist will have:

  • A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Previous ground investigation or site experience
  • Experience logging soils and rocks to current standards
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
