Purpose of the role
The Civil Engineering team in London provide engineering services on projects within London and Internationally, ranging from high quality public realm supporting office developments to large scale infrastructure projects and city-wide masterplans. Within this temporary role you will contribute to the design and preparation of deliverables associated with a number of our current projects.
What you'll do
- Preparing technical deliverables for civil engineering projects including drawings, models, presentations as well as short written reports.
- Supporting the delivery of projects which may including attending client meetings, producing bid documents and general business development activities.
- Contributing to a culture of technical excellence and the development of technical skills within the wider team through planning and delivery of initiatives and training.
- Embracing our Culture, Equity and strategy and vision, both through your own behaviour and influencing others.
The skills you’ll need
- Strong capability in Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D as an essential pre-requisite. Desirable experience of other relevant design tools which may include Revit, Navisworks, Bentley 3D AECOsim, Microdrainage and GIS.
- Technical experience in one or more areas relevant to civil engineering (earthworks, roads and streets, public realm, utilities, flood risk and drainage).
- Excellent communication skills, and an ability to interact collaboratively with colleagues and other members of professional teams with confidence.
- An ability to manage a complex and varied workload often involving multiple concurrent projects.
