An award-winning, design-focused civil & structural engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Design Engineer into its central London office. With a team of around 170 employees across multiple UK offices, the business offers the stability and resources of an established consultancy, while maintaining a collaborative and close-knit studio environment at office level.
The Opportunity
You'll be joining a consultancy known for delivering innovative, elegant and practical engineering solutions, working closely with architects to bring complex designs to life. Projects are highly varied and include:

The Role
As a Civil Design Engineer, you'll contribute to the delivery of civil engineering elements across building-focused projects. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the design of drainage, levels and external works
- Contributing to SuDS strategies and surface water management
- Assisting with site development and access design
- Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD / Civil 3D
- Working closely with architects and multidisciplinary teams
- Supporting projects from concept through to detailed design and construction
- Contributing to design discussions and helping develop practical solutions
What We're Looking For
- Experience in civil engineering design, ideally within development or building-related projects
- Background in drainage, external works or site development
- Experience using AutoCAD / Civil 3D
- Understanding of UK standards and approvals
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Interest in design-led engineering projects
