Our client is a leading manufacturer within their industry with further plans to expand and develop their business in the coming years. To aid with this growth they are looking for a Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to join their passionate team to help advise, manage and improve Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality matters within the business. There is also the opportunity to lead and mentor a HSE Officer on a day to day basis.
This organisation will need a Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager who has broad manufacturing experience, ideally industrial engineering, someone who is balanced, knowledgeable around HSEQ legislation and can coach people around HSEQ matters. The Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Manager is a dedicated role within the operations team to promote and maintain the HSEQ culture and performance within the company. The role will monitor HSEQ information and metrics, assess risk, consult and advise on HSEQ issues drawing on best practice professionalism, contribute to improvement projects and raise HSEQ non-compliances.
Key experience and qualifications:
- Previous significant experience of working in an HSEQ environment preferably within a manufacturing or industrial engineering capacity
- Strong knowledge of HSE management systems
- Strong knowledge of Quality management systems
- NEBOSH level 6 Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Professionals or equivalent
- NEBOSH Environmental Management Certification, equivalent or desire to achieve
- ISO9001 Auditor trained
- Strong administrative skills and IT literacy
- Approachable nature
Our client is offering an excellent salary of £50k to £60k with the following bonus benefit: Bonus Company Bonus scheme (0.25% of company net profit) (after successful completion of probation).
