As they continue to grow, quality is a central pillar of their success - and they’re looking for a Quality Engineer to take ownership and elevate their approach.
The Role
This is a hands-on Quality Engineering role with a strong focus on both inspection and continuous improvement.
You’ll be the go-to person for quality on-site, working closely with production and engineering teams to ensure high standards are met, and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Manage the QMS.
- Lead Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) from investigation through to closure.
- Carry out hands-on inspections (primarily visual, with some use of measurement tools).
- Validate and approve production technicians’ quality checks.
- Analyse quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Implement and embed robust quality processes and controls.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve overall product quality.
- Support the transition from reactive quality to a more proactive, process-driven approach.
About You
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong mechanical understanding - this is essential.
- Experience working with NCRs, CAPAs, and root cause analysis.
- A proactive mindset - someone who wants to improve systems, not just maintain them.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams.
Industry background is flexible - attitude, approach, and mechanical knowledge are key.
