A growing construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding infrastructure team based in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial professional to take a leading role on large-scale infrastructure and capital delivery projects across sectors including energy, utilities, transport and heavy civil engineering.

The role:
- Leading commercial management activities across major infrastructure projects
- Managing cost reporting, forecasting, budgets and financial performance
- Administering NEC contracts and overseeing change management processes
- Supporting procurement strategy and contractor engagement
- Managing commercial risk and ensuring effective project controls
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and senior stakeholders
- Supporting and mentoring junior commercial team members
Requirements:
- Experience operating at Senior or Principal Quantity Surveyor level
- Strong understanding of NEC forms of contract
- Background within infrastructure, civil engineering, utilities or energy projects
- Experience working on large-scale capital delivery programmes
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management capability
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- MRICS qualified or working towards chartership desirable
