We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead compliance, auditing and continuous improvement activities across our clients manufacturing, office and construction site operations. This role is responsible for maintaining ISO standards, ensuring compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and promoting a positive safety culture throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Health & Safety performance across manufacturing and site operations
- Maintain ISO 45001 compliance and Health & Safety management systems
- Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations
- Develop and improve Safe Systems of Work
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, clients and subcontractors
- Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance activities
- Deliver inductions and advise on training requirements
- Produce Health & Safety reports for senior management
- Support tender submissions and supply chain compliance requirements
Requirements
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence
- Experience within construction, manufacturing or engineering environments
- Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and ISO 4501
- Experience carrying out audits, inspections and investigations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Desirable
- Experience within manufacturing and construction
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems
