Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a capable Concrete Repairs Site Manager to oversee projects from mobilisation through to completion.

You will be joining a supportive business that values high-quality delivery, strong health and safety standards and positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and site teams.

What you will be doing

As the Concrete Repairs Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and commercially aware delivery of concrete repair projects across Chesterfield and the surrounding areas.

  • Managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Supervising site teams, subcontractors and specialist operatives.
  • Coordinating labour, materials, plant and access requirements.
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, programmes and method statements.
  • Ensuring all health, safety and environmental procedures are followed.
  • Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety inspections.
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting updates to senior management.
  • Maintaining accurate site records, including diaries, permits and quality documentation.
  • Liaising with clients, engineers, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
  • Identifying potential delays, risks or technical issues and taking appropriate action.
  • Supporting the commercial team with variations, cost control and project documentation.

  • What you will need

To succeed as a Concrete Repairs Site Manager, you will ideally have

  • Previous site management experience within concrete repairs, structural refurbishment, highways structures, bridges, car parks or a related specialist construction environment.
  • A strong understanding of concrete repair techniques and associated site operations.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, operatives and multiple work activities.
  • A valid SMSTS qualification.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
  • Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Experience working with specialist repair systems, protective coatings, waterproofing, cathodic protection or structural strengthening would be beneficial but is not essential.

Salary and package

You will receive

  • A salary of up to £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
