Key Quality Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead Food Safety, Quality and GMP standards across site
- Ensure compliance with BRC, customer and legal requirements
- Act as key contact for audits, customer queries and escalations
- Drive investigations into non-conformance (micro, analytical, complaints)
- Own HACCP, validation and verification processes
- Embed a strong Food Safety & Quality culture on site
- Work closely with operations on hygiene, CIP and process controls
- Support NPD and site change management
- Drive root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions
- Oversee product hold/release and traceability
Quality Manager Requirements:
- Essential:
- 3+ years’ experience in food manufacturing within a Quality/Technical role
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety standards
- Experience leading internal and external audits (BRC/customer)
- Strong problem‑solving and root cause analysis skills
- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology or similar – microbiology (masters)
- Experience in high‑care or complex manufacturing environments
- Coaching or mentoring experience
