Job Overview: Testing and Inspection Electrician - Mobile - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Salary up to £42,000 plus overtime @x1.5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across commercial sites.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out remedial works.
- Complete small-scale installations and minor upgrades as required.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments and point-of-work assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and reports using mobile devices.
- Work unsociable hours, including weekends and overnight, compensated at enhanced overtime rates.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing certification.
- City & Guilds 2382-18 or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 3 Technical Apprenticeship or City & Guilds 2377.
- Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card).
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in electrical testing and remedial work.
