Role Summary
Position: PSV/HGV Mechanical Fitter.
Location: Chelmsford.
Contracted Hours: 39 per week (permanent + overtime available).
Shifts: 4 days out of 7 (including weekends) on a rotation of early shifts 05:00-15:00 and late shifts 14:30-00:30.
Pay Rate: £24.03 per hour with a weekend premium of £25.07.
Bonus: £2,000 New Recruit Joining Bonus.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement.
- Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
- Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using handheld data capture devices if applicable.
- Attend on‑road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries where required.
- Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair.
About You
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ/SVQ (or City & Guilds equivalent) qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair – PSV/HGV.
- Flexible approach to work with the ability to multi‑skill.
- UK driving licence holder.
- A PCV licence is desirable but can be supported.
