Our client is a well-established specialist commercial interiors contractor with over 40 years of industry experience. They have built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality drylining, suspended ceilings, partitions, SFS, plastering and complete interior fit-out packages for Tier 1 main contractors across East Anglia, London and the South East.

Working across Cat A, Cat A+ and Cat B fit-out projects, they deliver schemes within the commercial office, healthcare, education, leisure and other sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in commercial drylining to oversee multiple projects from pre-start through to completion.

The Role:

  • Managing multiple commercial drylining and interior fit-out projects.
  • Planning programmes and coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors.
  • Attending site progress meetings with clients and main contractors.
  • Managing site teams, supervisors and subcontractors.
  • Monitoring project costs and commercial performance.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with current legislation.
  • Maintaining excellent client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identifying and resolving site issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Supporting successful project delivery from contract award through to final account.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the commercial drylining sector.
  • Strong knowledge of drylining systems, partitions, suspended ceilings and associated interior packages.
  • Experience managing projects for Tier 1 main contractors.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
  • Full UK driving licence.
