Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support the engineering team by carrying out systematic tasks and continuous improvements to plant and machinery to enhance existing manufacturing processes.
- Use initiative to identify areas that will improve production performance, line utilisation, and focus on reducing scrap levels.
- Provide maintenance support regarding projects.
- Work on a large variety of equipment including gear boxes, pumps, motors, bearings, drives, inverters, relays, sensors, conveyor systems, and PLCs.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Multi-skilled engineer - ideally with an electrical bias but mechanical bias will be considered (60:40 split).
- Apprentice trained / NVQ Level 3.
- Experience working within manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving/fault-finding ability and experience.
