The Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a proven track record working for a main contractor. You will play a key role in the pre‑construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects up to £50m
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to produce accurate estimates
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
- Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Work closely with internal teams including commercial, design, and project delivery
- Attend client meetings and support bid presentations
Requirements
