The Role

  • Electrical quality control across containment, cabling, terminations, panels and final fixtures
  • Inspections against drawings, specifications and ITPs
  • Recording inspections, raising NCRs and supporting close‑out
  • Supporting testing, commissioning and witnessing activities
  • Contributing to quality records, redlines and O&M documentation
  • Working closely with site management, supervisors and subcontractors to maintain standards without disrupting programme

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Electrical Quality Control within construction (not electronics etc)
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations, drawings and specifications
  • Experience on commercial large-scale M&E projects
  • ECS or CSCS card (electrical)
  • Electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
  • Awareness of testing & commissioning procedures and handover processes
  • Comfortable working on a live site with multiple stakeholders

Desirable but Not Essential

  • Experience working on a similar project (large new‑build healthcare or hospital facility) and familiarity with HTM standards
  • IPAF / PASMA
  • NICEIC or equivalent inspection background
