Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure that all activities required to maintain equipment are executed with high quality, focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Detect deviations in plant asset performance in a timely manner.
- Fault-find across AC/DC motors and drives, PLCs, sensors and pumps.
- Ensure safe, efficient and quality execution of routine maintenance work daily, with detailed job preparation in collaboration with the area engineer.
- Establish standard work plans for repetitive maintenance tasks and promote standardization.
- Inspect equipment and facilities on random or scheduled daily tours to detect anomalies.
- Provide support to maintenance teams in diagnosis and problem solving.
- Apply predictive maintenance techniques when appropriate for equipment and component management.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programmes and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong fault-finding and repair experience.
- Experience working with AC/DC motors and drives.
- PLC fault-finding experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and find solutions quickly.
