Due to a growth in company output, there is a need for a new Programme Manager who has a Mechanical Engineering pedigree. Based in Cambridge, you will be leading several projects that involve both mentorship to junior staff and hands-on mechanical design work.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects in the medical devices sector.
- Provide support and mentorship to junior team members.
- Develop and implement mechanical design solutions for electro-mechanical medical devices.
- Communicate progress, updates, and changes with internal and external stakeholders, both virtually and in person.
Qualifications
- Current or recent experience developing new medical device technologies.
- Strong background in electro-mechanical medical devices such as implantable devices, wearable technology, or other medical technologies compliant with EN60601 standards.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 regulatory requirements.
- Relevant engineering degree (master's or PhD beneficial but not essential).
- Proven ability to mentor and lead technical team members.
