Hours: 8am until 4pm / 9am until 5pm (Monday to Friday)

Polytec are looking for an Electrical / Electronic Maintenance Engineer for our client based a few miles north of Cambridge. You will be maintaining special purpose machinery, planning your own workload. You should be willing to attend training courses to further your technical knowledge as required.

Requirements:

  • A solid background as an electronic / electrical engineer with all round knowledge of various systems essential, mechanical aptitude an advantage.
  • Electronic / electrical qualifications to ONC / HNC level desirable.
  • Computer Literate - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) experience.
  • Ability to read circuit and wiring diagrams essential.
  • Good soldering skills.
  • Qualified to BS7671 with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations or other electrical installation qualifications desirable.
  • Ability to produce calibration/test procedures.
  • CandG 2391-10 Inspection and Testing advantageous.
  • High Voltage experience desirable - DC and AC Power supplies.
  • RF experience, PLC knowledge and high vacuum experience highly desirable.
