Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, you'll support critical power, distribution, and motor drive applications within the oil & gas, marine, and renewable energy sectors.

This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise in challenging environments, contribute to complex engineering solutions, and help deliver reliable, high-performance electrical systems for customers across a range of industries.

Our Team Dynamics

You'll have the tools and freedom to grow your skills, shape your path, and take on challenges that matter.

Here, your work creates impact you can see and feel, every day.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade and retrofit MV/LV switchgear, protection relay and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems.
  • Provide technical support and engineering expertise both remotely and on customer sites across the full service lifecycle.
  • Develop protection relay settings and coordination studies, supporting safe and reliable power system operation.
  • Contribute to power system studies including short-circuit, load flow, arc flash, harmonic and EMC assessments.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on VSD systems, including ACS1000, ACS5000, ACS6000, ACS800 and ACS880 drives.
  • Prepare technical documentation, engineering drawings, testing procedures, work packs and method statements.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define project scope, support bids and identify service growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, IEC requirements and applicable international regulations, while delivering technical training and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) and proven experience working with MV/LV electrical distribution systems (LV, 11k V and 33k V).
  • Proven experience commissioning, testing, maintaining and supporting MV/LV switchgear, protection relays and/or Variable Speed Drives (VSDs).
  • Strong knowledge of protection relay configuration, power system studies and electrical fault analysis.
  • Sound understanding of electrical power systems, IEC standards and electrical safety regulations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience with products and software, including PCM600, Omicron Test Universe, MNS/MNavigate and Asset Vision/Field Information Manager – desirable, not required.
  • Knowledge of AVR and excitation systems, industrial cybersecurity, and MV/LV switching operations – desirable, not required.
  • Experience delivering projects within energy, industrial, marine or offshore environments, supported by relevant professional certifications – desirable, not required.
