My client are looking for a Production Supervisor. This is a full-time opportunity, working onsite in their site just outside Bury St Edmunds. They are looking for someone with experience working in a high output production environment. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all technical aspects of the Lathe Area, including responsibility for all lathe machines and associated ancillary equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve component machining issues in collaboration with the Lathe team to ensure efficient production.
- Work closely with the Lathe Area Production Supervisor to support, motivate, and drive the department in achieving output and performance targets.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives, providing recommendations where feasible.
Experience Required
- Technically sound – experience operating lathe machines, ancillary equipment, and CNC machines.
- Experience working as part of a 24/7 production environment.
- Experience working in a high output production environment.
- Ability to solve technical issues, utilising mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015).
