Key Responsibilities
- MIG weld structural steel components and assemblies
- Perform vertical butt welds and multi-run fillet welds in various positions
- Weld very heavy gauge steel, including beams up to 45 tons
- Operate overhead cranes safely for positioning and assembly
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Maintain high quality standards and follow health & safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Apprentice trained MIG Welder
- Proven experience welding structural steel
- Multi-run fillet and butt weld experience
- Confident working with heavy steel beams (up to 45 tons)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience using overhead cranes
- Reliable, motivated, and quality-focused

- Day Shift: 07:00 – 16:45, Monday – Thursday
- Pay: £18.12 per hour
