My client is a growing fire and security solutions provider serving NW England.
We design, install, maintain and service alarm systems and combine them with CCTV, Access Control and related safety services.
My client are building a high‑calibre team to support local businesses across the North West.
Location: North West England (Lancashire, Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cumbria).
- Role responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, fault‑find and commission fire & security alarm systems (addressable and conventional) from leading panel manufacturers.
- Carry out routine testing, commissioning, servicing and preventative maintenance; manage callouts and emergency repairs.
- Perform on‑site surveys, write reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand risk and deliver compliant, safe solutions.
- Participate in an out‑of‑hours on‑call rota and travel across the NW region.
- Ensure compliance with British Standards.
- What we’re looking for
- 3+ years’ experience in fire & security alarm engineering (installation, service and maintenance).
- Strong knowledge of British Standards and experience with panels from various manufacturers.
- Full UK driving licence; right to work in the UK.
- FIA BAFE certifications or willingness to pursue.
- Good communication, problem‑solving and customer‑facing skills.
- A proactive, service‑oriented mindset and ability to manage own workload.
