Apex Resources is looking for an Estimator to join a growing team within the construction sector. A long-established UK construction and development business delivering projects across commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. It operates as a contractor, developer, and investor, managing schemes end-to-end from early-stage planning through to completion.

As an Estimator, you will engage closely with the supply chain to ensure all costs are competitive, robust, and solutions are practical and buildable. The Estimator will collaborate with internal teams, attend site visits where required, and support bid submissions and deliveries. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and consultants is also a key part of this Estimator role, ensuring long-term business success and repeat opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in estimating within the construction industry
  • Relevant, up-to-date qualifications in construction or a related field
  • Ability to provide checkable professional references
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and buildability
  • Proven experience working with supply chains to obtain competitive and accurate pricing
  • High level of commercial awareness and cost analysis skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
